Girls basketball roundup: Willmar comes close at Rocori

Jan. 6—COLD SPRING — The Willmar girls basketball team gave Rocori a good battle on Thursday, falling to the Spartans 51-45 in a Central Lakes Conference game.

Brielle Ogdahl and Telilie Lange had big games offensively for the Cardinals. Ogdahl had 18 points and Lange added 12.

Zoe Schroeder contributed 12 rebounds, five assists and four steals for Willmar.

The Cardinals are host to the Fergus Falls Otters at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Big Red Gym.
