Girls flag football, volleyball playoff matchups are set. Here’s who’s playing and where.

The first year of girls flag football in high school saw the Atwater, Merced and Livingston high teams finish in a three-way tie for the Central California Conference championship.

Now all three teams will get ready to host a playoff game as the Sac-Joaquin Section is one of the few sections in the state holding flag football playoffs.

The three teams finished tied at 11-3 in the CCC and all three earned home playoff games on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Atwater (20-5-1) earned the No. 3 seed in Division I and will host No. 14 Bear Creek at Dave Honey Stadium. Merced (21-4-1) is the No. 4 seed in Division I and will open at home against No. 13 Stagg. Livingston (17-10) is the No. 7 seed in Division II and will host No. 10 Los Banos.

El Capitan (16-6) finished one game behind the first-place trio in the CCC and will be the No. 9 seed in Division I and will travel to No. 8 Tokay on Tuesday.

Girls Volleyball

The Sac-Joaquin Section girls volleyball playoffs also begin on Tuesday.

Fresh off winning a third consecutive CCC championship, El Capitan (25-10) will open the Division II playoffs as the No. 7 seed and will host No. 10 Tracy at 7 p.m.

Atwater (20-8) finished second in the CCC and earned the No. 9 seed in Division II and will travel for a first-round match against No. 8 Woodcreek. Merced (18-9) is the No. 12 seed in Division II and will open on the road at No. 5 Lodi.

In the Division IV playoffs, Hilmar (14-11) is the No. 8 seed and will host No. 9 Orestimba in the first round on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Le Grand (13-12) is the No. 10 seed in Division V and will travel to No. 7 Westlake Charter and Mariposa (10-15) is the No. 14 seed and will open at No. 3 Big Valley Christian.

Stone Ridge Christian (21-11) is the No. 4 seed in Division VI and will host No. 5 Stockton Christian on Thursday in the first round.

In the Central Section both Chowchilla and Dos Palos qualified for the girls volleyball playoffs and will open on Tuesday in Division V action.

Chowchilla (18-11) is the No. 3 seed and will open at home against No. 14 Selma at 6 p.m. Dos Palos (17-10-1) is the No. 8 seed and will host No. 9 Wasco on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
