Head coach: Oscar Ney (3rd season)

Last year: 12-5. District 11 Class AA semifinalist

Returnees: Lilly Brown (sr.), Carly Seitzinger (sr.), Aspen Weizer (sr.), MacKenzie Romig (jr.), Natalie Brown (soph.), Elizabeth Gockel (soph.), Leah Walasavage (soph.), Madison Yorski (soph.)

Newcomers: Kasie Troch (jr.)

Outlook: Eagles return two singles and three doubles players in 3-2 format. No. 1 Weizer made district quarterfinals in singles and doubles last season. If players step up at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles, look for the Eagles to have a winning season and make the District 11 Team Tournament.

Hamburg

Head coach: Bud Bucheit (3rd season, 9th overall)

Last year: 8-7, 4-3 Berks II

Returnees: Mia Kalbach (sr.), Natalie Schappell (sr.), Emily Schappell (jr.), Julia Bucheit (jr.), Samantha Gruber (jr.), Mia Gassert (soph.)

Newcomers: Ashlynn Gugenhan (soph.)

Outlook: Lack of depth is a major concern, but the Hawks' return six starters. If they stay healthy, they should put more wins on the board than last season. Gassert is a contender for the District 3 title and return trip to states.

Jim Thorpe

Head coach: Sam Lux (2nd season)

Last year: 11-6. District 11 Class AA quarterfinalist

Returnees: Tara McLean (sr.), Hailey Trine (sr.), Julia Green (jr.), Ashlynn Miller (jr.), Chloe Tantala (soph.)

Newcomers: Ada Finsel (jr.), Keira Reese (fr.), Mackayla Eberly (fr.)

Outlook: Graduated No. 1 singles player and No. 1 doubles team, so Olympians have some holes to fill. Posting a .500 record is a realistic goal for a young team with just two seniors.

Pottsville

Head coach: Adrian Portland (5th season)

Last year: 7-9

Returnees: Grace Huff (sr.), Trinity Reedy (sr.), Zowie Zokuskie (sr.), Charley Brode (soph.), Madison Forbes (soph.), Jillian Horvath (soph.), Adalia LaSelva (soph.), Avary Major (soph.), Makenzie Reber (soph.), Kyra Sophy (soph.)

Newcomers: Rayven Ciccanti (sr.), Meadow Eckert (jr.), Olivia Moser (jr.), Ava Orlowsky (fr.), Miranda Seiger (fr.), Ashley Moser (fr.)

Outlook: Hit hard by graduation, the Crimson Tide will look to refill their singles lineup this season. With 16 players, Pottsville has more depth than most.

Tamaqua

Head coach: Rich Gibson (6th season)

Last year: 4-8

Returnees: Megan Oswalt (sr.), Brooke Williams (sr.), Helen Florea (sr.), Emily Antonio (jr.), August Stinson (jr.), Jenelee Fernandez (jr.)

Newcomers: Nataly Kerestes (sr.), Abby Genery (soph.), Gabby Erho (soph.)

Outlook: Graduated top two singles players from last season's team, so returning players will have to fill higher spots in the lineup. Improving last season's record is a realistic goal.
