Girls wrestling: Lady Warriors compete in Hillsboro
Dec. 20—The Warrenton girls wrestling team competed over the weekend in a tournament at Liberty High School in Hillsboro.
Competing against schools from the 3A to 6A level, the Warriors finished 15th out of 34 teams.
Warrenton placers included Katie Rehnert (second, 190 pounds) and Kaidynce Daniels (third, 135).
"We are a very young team, but the girls are working hard and my coaching staff (Mallory Vollner and Trent Klebe) see great improvements happening with the girls," said Warrenton head coach Steve Stratton. "The girls' improvement thus far this season has myself and my coaching staff very proud of them."
