What giveaways are the Padres offering this season? Here are some items

SAN DIEGO — Ready for the Padres 2024 season? With the schedule already released, it’s time to look at the promotional events happening on certain games.

There will be a total of 16 fan giveaways such as fan favorites, player-themed items, bobbleheads, high-quality wearables and special moment celebrations, the Padres said in a press release Thursday. The first 40,000 fans will be eligible for giveaways.

Here are some of the items being offered:

• Padres Opening Series Hat (Sycuan Casino Resort)

• Knit Beanie with Removable Pom (SDG&E)

• ’84 Throwback Hat (San Diego Community Power) celebrating the 40^th anniversary of the 1984 World Series team

• Tatis Jr. City Connect Bucket Hat (UC San Diego Health)

Items with Padres’ pink and mint City Connect colors

• City Connect Poncho (97.3 The Fan) that can also be used as a blanket

• Manny Machado Collectible Pin (Canel’s)

• City Connect Belt Bag (University of San Diego)

• City Connect Hoodie (Southwest Airlines)

• Joe Musgrove Basketball Jersey (Motorola)

• 619 Aloha Shirt (Jack in the Box)

• 1999 Tony Gwynn Henley (SERVPRO) in honor of the 25^th anniversary of Gwynn’s 3,000^th career hit

• Fiesta in the Park (Verizon) during Hispanic Heritage Weekend (Blue Shield of California)

• Padres House Band for pregame performances on the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square

• Postgame fireworks following two nights games

• First-ever postgame drone show to celebrate Petco Park’s 20th anniversary on the first Monday game of the opening homestand

• KidsFest features bounce houses, inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and other kid-friendly activities two hours before first pitch in Gallagher Square

• Military Appreciation Days on Sundays
