The 18-year-old daughter of Gizelle and Jamal Bryant has started the school year at Florida A&M University. Her parents took to social media to wish her luck in her studies. Jamal shared a photograph of his wife and daughter, Grace, posing in front of a FAMU wall.

“Monumental moment for @gizellebryant & I as we are releasing @gracegbryant to @famu_1887,” he wrote in the caption. “We have every confidence that she will excel and conquer. Please pray for her …. And US! 🙏🏾🥲”

Grace is studying business management at the HBCU, she announced in an Instagram Story in April, according to Bravo. She decided to attend FAMU after touring campus with her mother and twin sisters, Adore and Angel, in the fall of 2021.

Gizelle shared her emotions after dropping off her daughter at the airport in June.

“OK, I’m gonna keep it all the way real with y’all,” she said in a video posted on Instagram. “I just dropped off my daughter. I’m leaving her for the first time. She is officially a college student. And you know how you pack your suitcase, and you’re checking out of a hotel, and you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I left my charger in the room’? And you’re like, ‘Is my charger in my bag?’ And you look. And you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I lost my phone, where’s my phone?’ It’s like feeling like you forgot something. Yeah, I feel like I forgot my child, and I need to go back and get her. The struggle bus is real, OK?”

“I’m over here snotting. I’m gonna keep it all the way real: I’ve been snotting,” she added. “I went to the bathroom, I tried to pull myself together. Who else is feeling what I’m feeling? Moms, talk to your girl. Help me out!”

Grace is stepping into the family tradition of attending HBCUs. Her mother, a cast member on The Real Housewives of Potomac, attended Hampton University. She received a degree in marketing and was also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Grace’s father, Jamal, is also a Greek life member as he is part of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He graduated from Morehouse College with a dual political science and international studies degree. According to his website, Jamal was the first student enrolled in Morehouse with a GED.

He has been invited several times to address the newer classes of students.

Congratulations Grace Bryant!
