One of the biggest nights in queer entertainment is here: It’s time for the 34th Annual GLAAD Media Awards!
The stars were out to celebrate and acknowledge queer excellence this year as GLAAD announced recipients for 15 of this year’s 33 categories. The evening was hosted by Margaret Cho and featured special performances from FLETCHER and Orville Peck.
Among the honorees is Christina Aguilera who received the Advocate for Change Award, and who was introduced by Club Q shooting survivor, Michael Anderson.
This year’s Vanguard Award was given to Bad Bunny, and presented by queer icon Ricky Martin.
The Inspection star Jeremy Pope received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award which was presented by his co-star Gabrielle Union.
For those dying to get get a peek at the proceedings, the event will stream on Hulu beginning Wednesday, April 12, 2023!
This is just the first round of honorees, the remaining winners for select categories will be announced at GLAAD’s New York Ceremony on Saturday, May 13.
