Gladewater Spring Clean Up to provide curbside pick up for certain citizens

GLADEWATER, Texas (KETK) — The City of Gladewater announced their Spring Clean Up event providing curbside pick up for any disabled or senior citizens.

According to a release, people must schedule this service by calling the Water Utility Billing Department at 903-845-2196 by 3:30 p.m. on April 11. The event will take place on April 13 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Prohibited items include:

  • batteries

  • chemical

  • commercial waste

  • paint

  • refrigeration items

  • shingles

Those interested in volunteering are asked to meet at the Ken Bennett Pavilion on E. Pacific by 7:45 a.m. People are asked to bring gloves.
