Glastonbury Festival's 2023 line-up app has arrived, allowing fans heading to Michael Eavis' sold-out festival on Worthy Farm in Somerset to plan all the musicians they want to see across the weekend.

The app is available now on iOS and Android and powered by Vodafone, the festival's new "connectivity partner" for 2023.

The network will provide 4G signal to over 250,000 attendees, along with phone charging packs (which can be ordered ahead of the festival) and plans to help support the local residents with digital training over the next 18 months.

Fans can expect to see headliners including Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, and Elton John; the latter two are making their Glasto debut. Meanwhile, Elton John's set will be his final UK gig as part of his 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour.

Although the festival is currently sold out, the BBC will be broadcasting extensive coverage across BBC channels, iPlayer, BBC Radio and BBC Sounds.

The line-up currently has 23 "TBA" slots, expected to be reserved for secret sets, along with one mysterious band named The ChunUps, who will play at 6:15pm, third from the top on Friday on the Pyramid Stage.

The band is thought to be Foo Fighters, following a gap in their touring schedule as well as Dave Grohl's appearance at the festival alongside Paul McCartney during his headline slot in 2022.

The band is currently promoting their new album 'But Here We Are', dedicated to late drummer Taylor Hawkins. Fans think a certain note on their social media quoting the words "churn up" all but confirms their secret Glasto slot.

The line-up app allows fans to view the map for the festival and select their favourite sets from across four days of music, as well as search for artists from A-Z.

The app will also include news from the festival, interactive maps, key info such as a packing list and links to listen to the festival’s own on-site radio station, Worthy FM.

The festival came under fire earlier this year for seemingly announcing three headliners predominantly fronted by male musicians.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis was keen to point out that the lack of diversity in terms of female musicians came from a "pipeline problem" in the industry.

One leading female musician pulled out from headlining the 2023 festival, although two female musicians are thought to be headlining next year.

This could potentially be Madonna and Rhianna, or perhaps former headliner Beyoncè, who was recently touring the UK. Or it might even be Taylor Swift, who was announced to headline the 2020 festival before it was cancelled due to COVID-19.
