GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn Patch wants to honor local high school graduates, as in-person graduations, proms and other events have been canceled or postponed for 2020 due to the new coronavirus. Since many seniors are missing out on these events, we wanted to find a way to make them feel special. These messages and photos were sent by family members who wanted to show their graduates some love.
Robbie's family writes, "Your family is very proud of your accomplishments in high school. We greatly enjoyed watching you perform in the many band and choir concerts, in addition to the theatre productions. What a joy it was for all of us to be in the audience!! Congratulations and best wishes for a bright future!"
Nicole Palmieri, who is graduating from Glenbard South HIgh School, will study dietetics at the University of Dayton.
