Glen Rock Starbucks sign vandalism, pro-Palestine stickers may be separate incident

Further discoveries have been made about the Glen Rock Starbucks sign that was vandalized last Monday morning, officials announced.

The coffee chain logo was seen with red paint spattered on the sign and with stickers that read "From the U.S. to Palestine, abolish the settler state" and "There was never a land without people." The Glen Rock Police Department called this a "bias incident."

Detectives now believe the stickers were attached to the sign poles before the splashing of the red paint, because of the "scratches and marks that may indicate they had been on the poles for a few days."

Members of the Central Business District have collaborated with the Glen Rock Police Department by promptly and voluntarily providing numerous hours of video footage from their stores, officials said.

Detectives are working with the corporate offices of Bank of America in an attempt to secure its footage at its location in Glen Rock, authorities said.

Starbucks has been the face of scrutiny over the last few months as national boycotts were raged against the chain after the company stood against the sentiments delivered by the Starbucks United Union that read "Solidarity with Palestine!" in a tweet.
