Seven Ages Theatricals to stage ‘Incorruptible’ June 2-3: Seven Ages Theatricals, Sheboygan’s independent theater company, has announced its upcoming production of “Incorruptible” by Michael Hollinger.

The “dark comedy about the Dark Ages” tells the tale of a one-eyed minstrel named Jack who makes a dubious deal with monks in a 13th-century monastery to “repurpose” their deceased parishioners as relics of saints to other orders, thereby enticing the Pope to visit (and filling their empty coffers doesn’t hurt, either). But when one of the rogue monks writes the Holy Father that they have an incorruptible (a saint so holy its body doesn’t decay), Jack has to come up with a body … and quick!

“Incorruptible” is a hilarious romp through medieval shenanigans and will star well-known 7AT actors Jardin Fontaine (Brad in “Rocky Horror,” Jim in “The Gifts of the Magi”) as Jack and Daniel Hennell (Polonius in last season’s “Hamlet”) as the Abbot Charles.

The cast is filled out with Seven Ages regulars Christopher Lee Fontaine, Emily Sandoval, Lee Koeppen, Daniel Byrne-Szafoni, Trudy Berger and Kerri Rank as the Peasant Woman.

Berger also stage manages the show, assisted by Brittany Robles, and Koeppen will design the set. 7AT Executive Artistic Director Tom Berger directs, returning to the play after more than two decades, when he was one of the first actors in the country to play Jack.

“Incorruptible” will be performed at the Bradley Theatre at Lakeland University at 7:30 p.m. June 2 and 2 and 7:30 p.m. June 3. Links to tickets are available on 7AT’s Facebook page or by emailing sevenagestheatricals@gmail.com.
