Glenview man charged with possession of child pornography
GLENVIEW, Ill. — A Glenview man is facing a handful of charges after authorities say he was allegedly found to be in possession of child pornography.
According to Glenview police, 58-year-old Bruce Claver has been charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography of a victim under 13 (images) and one count of possession of child pornography of a victim under 13 (video).

The charge was handed after an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office following a search warrant that was executed on Dec. 11, 2023.
Authorities did not provide details on where the search warrant was executed.
Claver was later taken into custody on Wednesday in the 1900 block of Glenview Road and he was charged on Thursday.

According to police, Claver appeared in court on Friday for a detention hearing.
Claver’s previous pre-trial release conditions were revoked at the hearing and he is now being held at the Cook County Jail, pending a court hearing.
