Jason Brewer and Kyle Brewer had 19.52 pounds to win the Lake Wales Po Boys Bass Club tournament Sept. 25 at Lake Toho. Cheryl Brewer and Steve Coleman took second place with 19.47 pounds. Trever Stephens and Andrew Ready placed third with 18.83 pounds. Tom Van Devooroe took big bass with a 7.56 pounder.

Mike Tucker and Bobby Ford took second place with 14.20 pounds. Roger Weigle placed third with 14.00 pounds. Robert Garcia and Juan Garcia took big bass with a 5.11 pounder.

Brian Ball and Cedrick Perry had 24.56 pounds to win the Camp Mack Guy Harvey Lodge 2022 Bonfire Tournament Series Tickled Pink Playoff Sept. 24 at Lake Kissimmee. Will Brown and Andrew Hall took second place with 20.38 pounds. Scott Paul and David Graham placed third with 15.01 pounds. Cedrick Perry had big bass with a 6.32 pounder. Clayton Keene and Clayton Keene II placed first in the family division with 3.85 pounds.

Andrew Hall and Chris Maxwell had 22.01 pounds to win Xtreme Bass Series Lake Toho Division Sept. 25 on Lake Toho. Jim Folks and Jeremy Smith took second place with 20.80 pounds. Terry Segraves and Tim Burton placed third with 20.05 pounds. Eric Andrews and Anthony Cilladi had big bass with a 6.68 pounder.

The Thursday Night Open Series tournament scheduled for Sept. 29 is cancelled this week due to Hurricane Ian.

The Lakeland Bassmasters’ will host the first annual Jim Hooven Memorial Open tournament Oct. 1 on the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes out of William G. Roe Park ramp. Launch is at safe daylight and weigh-in is at 3 p.m. The club is currently seeking new members and those interested can join at the club’s meetings at Cleveland Heights Golf Club. The Lake Wales Breakfast Rotary Club 19th Annual Reel ‘Em in For Rotary Charity Bass Tournament will be Nov. 5 at Lake Kissimmee out of Camp Mack. Time is safe daylight until 2 p.m. Entry fee is $95 per boat pre-registered by Oct. 31 and $125 day of the event. Ramp fee is $6 paid at ramp.
