A glitch in the registration system is blamed for causing "longer-than-expected wait times" at the drive-up vaccination clinic at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Sunday.
KELLY WERTHMANN: Centura Health says a technical glitch is to blame for long waits reported for a COVID vaccine on Sunday. That's one of your top stories on CBSN Denver this hour. The holdup happened at the drive-up clinic at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Centura says it discovered an error in their registration system. It allowed an additional 400 Coloradans to register.
Staff and vaccine supply was increased as soon as possible to honor the extra patients, but it caused lengthy wait times. Centura says steps have been taken to make sure this doesn't happen again.
