- All right, time now for our Chart of the Day. And we're looking at the rise of global electric vehicle sales. Now, according to data from LMC Automotive and EV-Volumes.com, global EV sales made up roughly 10% of every new car sold around the world in 2022. Now, global sales of fully electric vehicles totaled around 7.8 million units, an increase of 68% from 2021. And it's expected to reach nearly 11 million this year.
