Goal is to give students a fun and safe day to enjoy activities with their classmates
The Watertown Middle School closed out the 2022-23 school year by holding the annual WMS Arrowfest on Friday, May 26.
This is the third year of the event, which wasn't held in 2020 and 2021, according to WMS counselor Jason Buechler. The goal is to give students a fun and safe day to enjoy activities with their classmates.
Students are free to walk around and choose any activity at any time.
Buechler said the student council and staff work together to develop activities so that there is something fun to do for everyone.
This year's activities included anime design and coloring, board and card games, karaoke, phot booth, scavenger hunt, bingo, making ice cream, Pictionary, 9 square, crossnet, cornhole, Spikeball, Radar Run with the Watertown Police Department School Resource Office, South Dakota National Guard and MRE's, vehicles and other activities.
