More than $46,000 has been raised to help with funeral and medical expenses for two victims shot in Wilmington earlier this month.

Alexandra "Faith" Gillikin, 25, and Nicholas Raspino, 30, sustained gunshot wounds during a May 7 shooting on Galley Lane in Wilmington. Gillikin died at the scene and Raspino was transported to Novant's New Hanover Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

An online GoFundMe campaign describes Raspino as a "warmhearted man with a heart of gold." According to the campaign, the injuries Raspino's sustained earlier this month landed him in the intensive care unit.
