GoFundMe set up to help with funeral for Laurinburg woman hit and killed in Robeson County

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) — A GoFundMe page has been set up to seek donations to help with funeral expenses for a Laurinburg mother of three who was hit and killed by a car Tuesday night in Robeson County.

Sharonda Locklear was hit and killed on Highway 710 near Hezekiah Road, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said. She was walking in the southbound travel lane when she was hit by a vehicle that was also traveling south.

No one has been charged in the incident, according to the highway patrol.

“She was greatly loved by many friends and family and will be missed beyond measure,” his sister said on the GoFundMe page.

As of Friday morning, 22 people had donated more than $1,300.
