Son Gohan and Piccolo have come to “Fortnite” as part of the game's second collaboration with “Dragon Ball Super”

On Monday, the official “Fortnite” Twitter account tweeted the date Jan. 31, 2023, along with a picture of a Red Ribbon ship flying over the “Fortnite” battle royale island with the words “Fortnite x Dragon Ball Super.”

On Tuesday, more “Dragon Ball Super” content went live on “Fortnite” through the v23.30 update.

“Fortnite” posted an update tweet, confirming fans’ speculation of Gohan and Piccolo’s arrival.

The tweet also announced the return of the Kamehameha attack item and the Nimbus cloud, which were previously released in a “Dragon Ball Super” collaboration in August of last year that brought Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus to “Fortnite.”

Vysena Studios, the creative team behind the collaboration, created the “Dragon Ball” Adventure Island, which allows players to visit iconic locations such as Goku’s House, Kami’s Palace, The Room of Spirit and Time and Beerus’ Planet.

Both Son Gohan and Piccolo’s in-game outfits are based on the new “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” movie.

Gohan’s Charging Up Emote sees him transform into a Super Saiyan, and available accessories include Gohan’s Cape Back Bling, Gohan’s Beast Pickaxe and Capsule No. 576 Glider.

Piccolo is able to manifest Power Awakening through the Piccolo Charging Up Emote. He can be accessorized with Piccolo's Cape and Turban Back Bling, Piccolo's Demon Symbol Back Bling, Piccolo's Handheld House Pickaxe and Red Ribbon Army Aircraft Glider.
