'They are going to get a fight:' Ohio State arrives at Skull Session vs. Wisconsin

According to linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, Ohio State football has been thinking about one thing all week: toughness.

And as the football team arrived at the pregame Skull Session prior to its first conference game against Wisconsin Saturday night, Eichenberg made one thing clear.

"They are going to wish they never made the trip," he said.

Safeties coach Perry Eliano said Ohio State has been "grinding all week for this opportunity" to face Wisconsin after three non-conference wins at Ohio Stadium to start the 2022 season.

"We need each and every one of you to be outlets," Eliano said. "What does that mean? An outlet brings the energy. And guess what? It never runs out of juice."

To Ryan Day, the main message to the team this week has been to "find out who we are." And the Ohio State head coach said there isn't a better stage than a "blackout," prime-time contest for the Buckeyes' first Big Ten test.

"They want a fight, they are going to get a fight," Day said.

Ohio State takes on Wisconsin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
