Going to Little Falls Canal Days? Here's your complete planning guide for the 2022 event

After a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Little Falls' Canal Days are making a return.

The 34th annual Canal Days Celebration begins Monday, Aug. 8 and continues through Sunday, Aug. 14, with most events starting Wednesday, and the organizers are expecting a big showing.

"If we were to total up all the participation for the whole week it would probably be close to 8,000 to 10,000 people for all events," said Canal Days Chairperson Tony De Luca.

DeLuca said that the Canal Days brings in people from across the country to celebrate.

"Not only do we draw from up and down the valley," said DeLuca, "but many high school reunions are scheduled for the weekend and that brings in people from all across the U.S. actually."
