You’re going to LOVE this Valentine’s Day themed house in North Carolina
GRANDY, N.C. (WAVY) – Love is in the air at a home in Grandy, North Carolina.
Darryl Hood has a 40,000-light Valentine’s display at his house at 173 Carolina Club Drive. It’s impossible to miss.
He’s been doing Christmas lights too, for nearly two decades, but the Valentine’s display has really picked up in recent years.
The display includes nearly 300 hearts, and he’s got about 250 love songs that he plays over speakers.
The video he provided to WAVY appropriately was set to “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston.
He says it’s all about sharing the love and having fun in a time of the year that can be gray and sad for some.
