Going sledding a popular activity on a snow day for area kids

This month’s question: What is your favorite thing to do on a snow day and why?

My favorite thing to do when thars a snowday is to go sledding with my mom and dad and brothers. We go on the sled is what I and my brother ride on an my mom and da ridr a forwiler to pull up on the sled we ride on. We think it’s fun to us. My mom wet sleding with me wuns in 2020 last year. It was fun going with her so I hope I get to this year.

My favorite thing to do on a snow day is go sledding. To go sledding you need a sled, a hill and you. First you get the sled. Next you go on the sled. Last you lide down the hill. My second favorite thing to do on a snow day is make a snowman. You need snow, a carrot, and something rond for the eyes. First you make a very big ball of snow. Next you make a smaller ball of snow and put it on top. Then you make a smaller ball of snow and put it on top. Last you decorate it buy putting on the carrot for the nose somthing rond for the eyes and if you want you can get some stiks and make two arms if you want. My third favorite thing to do on a snow day is to have a snow ball fight. You need snow and somone to have a snow ball fight whith. First you make snow balls. Next you throw tham at the ather purson and have lots and lots of fun. My forth favorite thing to do on a snow day is to mak snow angles. You need snow and yourself. First you lat on the snow and wave your arms and legs up and down in the snow. There are so miny things like to do on a snow day and I hope to try som miny more things.

Can we go outside ok. Yes. Yay! Oh look it’s Sandy can Sandy come to. Yes. Yay! Good. That’s what I wud do on a snow day.

First I would wake up and put on my snow close on. Then my mom and my brother’s would get the sleds. And walk to the golf cors. And run up the hil! We would sled down the hil and we would do it a cuple times. Next we would walk back to the hose with are selds. Last we would come insid and sit in the bena bags biye the fier. And mom would get us hot choclet. Finaly would would wach are tablits quietly.

On a snowy day when I get outside I make a snow angel, and then I go and get my neighbor friends and sometimes we make a snowman. Next we sometimes just eat snow. And I know it might sound weird, but it’s just kind of like water but we all eat it! My two dogs love snow. I usually bring them outside. There names are Archie and Maisie. Archie is a 1 year old and Maisie is 4 years old and she sometimes pull off our gloves and thinks its funny!

Today is a snow day. My favorite thing to do on a snow day from school is to play in the snow because I can play with my siblings and have fun with them. Another reason I like to play in the snow on a snow day is because I can make a snow pile and throw myself into it. Then I’d rebuild it and do it again and again, until I get tired. The last reason I like playing in the snow on a snow day is because I can put snow in a bucket and wait until it turns into cold water. Then I would get a hot bath after to warm me up. These are some of the reasons why playing in the snow is my favorite thing to do on a snow day from school.

Today is a snow day. My favorite thing to do on a snow day from school is drink hot chocolate. Then, I’ll make it with hot water, chocolate powder, marshmallows, and honey. Next, I’ll go outside with my hot chocolate and if my patio table has a lot of snow on it, I will set my hot chocolate on it and it will cool down. I’ll put my cup in the sink and then I’ll go play. Drinking hot chocolate on a snow day from school is my favorite thing to do.
