Marc-Andre Fleury has developed a reputation for being a prank master over the course of his career and he may have submitted his best work yet.

Fleury and the Vegas Golden Knights entered Saturday’s practice as they normally would, save for one notable exception – which Jonathan Marchessault found out the hard way. After taking a casual lap, he discovered that all his sticks were tied together and it didn’t take long to figure out who the culprit was.

Marchessault proved to be a great sport about the practical joke, discarding his sticks in place of a new one, likely much to the relief of Fleury and the rest of the Golden Knights. After all, if there’s ever a time for levity, it’s the playoffs.

The 28-year-old scored two goals through five games and perhaps Fleury’s prank will help him catch fire as the Golden Knights seek to eliminate the San Jose Sharks in Game 6 of their first-round series Sunday.
