Goldendoodle Trusts Nothing After Running Into Screen Door
A dog made sure not to make the same mistake twice after she accidentally ran into the screen door at her home in Dublin, California.
Footage posted to Instagram by James Dowdy on August 19 shows his family’s mini goldendoodle Poppy hesitating to walk through the open door, using her paws to check that all was clear.
“She ran into the screen door one time and now she’s broken,” Dowdy joked in the caption.
He told Storyful that Poppy had crashed into it while she was playing earlier that day.
“For the rest of the day and evening, anytime she came through the doorway, she would check that the screen door was not closed by rearing up and leading through the doorway with her front paws,” he said. Credit: James Dowdy via Storyful
