SOUTH BEND — The Goo Goo Dolls perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.

Originally formed as a punk band in 1986 in Buffalo, N.Y., the band — John Rzeznik and Robby Takac — experienced success with a switch to alternative rock with elements of pop music incorporated into its sound.

The band has released 14 studio albums, including “A Boy Named Goo,” “Dizzy Up the Girl,” “Gutterflower” and “Chaos in Bloom,” released in 2022.

Its hit singles include “Name,” “Iris,” “Slide,” “Home” and a cover of Supertramp’s “Give a Little Bit.”

Tickets are $129.50-$49.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 19 at morriscenter.org.

The box office is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.
