GOOD DEEDS: Furniture retailers collecting for Hurricane Ian victims

Matter Brothers Furniture and Florida Leather Gallery are partnering with local United Way chapters to lend a helping hand to communities affected by Hurricane Ian.

Both companies will collect much-needed, everyday items at locations in Sarasota and throughout Southwest Florida.

Matter Brothers is working with United Way of South Sarasota County and United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties on these relief efforts.

Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Matter Brothers’ Sarasota Showroom, 4675 Clark Road.

Florida Leather Gallery will take donations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 7766 S. Tamiami Trail, in Sarasota.
