TANZY SIERRA: Good Lord was looking out for that child for her to be found alive and coming home.

- Savannah Childress safely returning home to a community that came together to find her. This after she hadn't been seen since February 11th.

TANZY SIERRA: Relieved. Very relieved and glad that somebody was finally able to find her as quick as they did.

- Authorities say the 14-year-old was using her school laptop to communicate with 38-year-old William Ice from Pennsylvania. Around 8:00 PM Saturday, police in Lonoke County, Arkansas spotted William's SUV in a McDonald's parking lot. They say he shot at them and injured one of the officers before driving away and crashing on an Arkansas highway. When the vehicle came to a stop, police say Savannah got out and was taken into police custody. William was found in the vehicle suffering from what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators say he was a suspect in several incidents involving attempting to kidnap or sexually assault children.

- The fact that she was found, no matter what, at the end of the day, is the greatest thing of all.

- From online search groups to boots on the ground, people in Denton spent hours searching to find and bring Savannah home. A family friend shared this statement with Fox8. "The family is so grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers that their daughter has received. Just continue to please pray for them all as they try to overcome and heal from everything that has happened."

TANZY SIERRA: I mean, if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere. Whether you're in a small town or a big city, you got to keep an eye on your kids.

- Be careful. Watch who you talk to. Watch who your kids are talking to.

- And multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are still investigating.
