‘Good Morning America’ host Michael Strahan tests positive for coronavirus: report

“Good Morning America” host and Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan has tested positive for coronavirus, according to reports.

He has been quarantining from home this week without appearing on “GMA,” reported TMZ, and he also participated remotely on “Fox NFL Sunday” during the NFC Championship.

Strahan also hosts “The $100,000 Pyramid,” but the game show’s latest season wrapped in the summer, Deadline noted.

The former Giants great has co-hosted “GMA” since 2016, after a stint co-hosting “Live! With Kelly & Michael starting in 2012.

Strahan said he learned Saturday that he had ben exposed in the previous week and he began quarantining immediately, TMZ said. He’s scheduled to appear Thursday on “GMA” to discuss his diagnosis.

Strahan is the second “GMA” host to catch coronavirus. George Stephanopoulos caught it last April, though he cleared it quickly and never showed any symptoms.
