Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid kicked in the head by Ed Balls

Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid was (accidentally!) kicked in the head by co-presenter Ed Balls during a live broadcast of the morning programme.
During today's episode (January 17) the pair were debating etiquette on public transport after an image showing someone putting their feet on the back of somebody else's seat while on a plane went viral.
However, as the pair went to demonstrate with studio guests Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce, Ed was left mortified after he sat down behind Susanna on plane seats set-up in the studio. He swung his legs up above the headrest and caught Susanna around the back of the head.
"The question is, is it okay for Ed and Andrew to..." Susanna began before she jumped forward from the kick.

"I think we've decided it's not ok," she continued, as Ed tried to apologise profusely, adding: "I don't know if I can carry on doing the programme. I'm seeing stars. That is our debate this morning, should you put your feet up on seats?"
"I think Ed Balls has just answered that question," Andrew jokingly replied, as the presenter moved swiftly on to the next part of the show.
The pair addressed the gaffe once more later on in the show after presenter Charlotte Hawkins asked Susanna how she was feeling.
"Honestly. No lasting damage," she replied. "Although my eyesight did go blurry for about 20 minutes.

Sharing the clip on Twitter/X, GMB then put the question to viewers, writing: "Is it ever okay to put your feet on the seat? @edballs might have answered that question already."
"Checkup's due, Ed," replied the official Specsavers account, while another person joked: "Can we have the transcript of what was said off-air!"
