Here's what Illinois coach Brad Underwood had to say about the portal and building a team/program: "One day at a time. It's literally managing your highs and lows. You're going to see new guys in every day. It goes in cycles. We keep searching every day. We watch so much film on guys trying to find out as much information as we can. It's quick. It's speed dating. You have to have an idea of what you want and what you need. We're not done yet. There's no doubt about that. We've got to add some pieces."
