A person described as a good Samaritan helped the US Coast Guard to rescue a man from a boat which caught fire out on Lake Tahoe in California officials said in a statement released July 20.

This footage, recorded by the US Coast Guard, shows the boat engulfed in flames on the lake.

The Coast Guard said the “good Samaritan” stepped in to help rescue the 43-year-old man after his boat caught fire.
