‘Here for a good time, but not a long time,’ new Boise bar opens — 12 hours per week?

A new pop-up bar started slinging drinks in downtown Boise last weekend.

But if you blinked, you might have missed it.

Front Street Lounge debuted Friday at 781 W. Front St., according to Shannon Kelly, public relations specialist with Geronimo Hospitality Group.

The bar’s marketing slogan: “Here for a good time, but not a long time.”

Front Street Lounge is open only from 4 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. It’s in the former home of Voicebox Karaoke, which shuttered last year in the BoDo district.

“Located next door to The Warehouse Food Hall, Front Street Lounge is the ultimate spot to kick off your weekend,” its website says. “Sip on one of our favorites, like the Front Street Rita or Pistachio Punch, or choose from our line-up of cocktails, wine or beer.”

The limited drink menu can be perused online.

Draft options are $6 to $8 and include four beers and a hard cider. There also are three canned beers ($5 to $9) and a half-dozen wines by the glass and bottle. Wines range from Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc ($12/$40) to Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne ($130).

Front Street Lounge offers eight signature cocktails. The aforementioned Front Street Rita ($14) is Espolon blanco tequila, Cointreau, infused watermelon shrub and lemon, with a black lava sea salt rim. The Pistachio Punch ($15) is Bacardi rum, Plantation rum, passionfruit syrup, brown sugar, pistachio orgeat, lime, lemon and pineapple.
