Goodbye Margaritaville, The Pensacola Beach Resort is now open. What guests can expect

The Margaritaville Hotel on Pensacola Beach underwent a dramatic change in April when it shuddered its ties with singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett’s resort brand and rebranded itself as an independent concept called The Pensacola Beach Resort.

The new private resort is now officially open to guests, offering 161 waterfront rooms including 24 executive king rooms with wrap-around balconies, coastal-inspired public spaces, an elevated pool deck, a new restaurant concept and more.

The Pensacola Beach Resort is located at 165 Fort Pickens Road and is within walking distance of Pensacola Beach Pier and many local restaurants.

What’s new at The Pensacola Beach Resort?

The Pensacola Beach Resort on Pensacola Beach is officially open. After a rebrand and renovations, it now offers 61 guest rooms, including 24 Corner King Executive Rooms with balconies offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico; an on-site fitness center; a full-service restaurant; an open-air beach bar; an elevated pool deck and pool bar reserved for hotel guests; activities for the entire family; and more than 1,200 square feet of meeting space for business meetings or destination weddings.

The Pensacola Beach Resort underwent renovations after the rebrand, but guests can expect a familiar vibe as the resort incorporates a curated collection of artwork featuring impressionist maritime images and nods to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and local boating culture.

Drawing from its famous sugar-white sand beaches and shimmering emerald waters, the hotel’s coastal design incorporates varying shades of blue, with touches of rum-colored woods and gold.

The Pensacola Beach Resort features an elevated pool deck overlooking the Gulf, providing a laid-back oasis exclusively for hotel guests. The pool deck also includes a poolside Tiki Bar serving refreshing beverages and specialty island cocktails.
