New Goodwill store, donation site and career center breaks ground in Lebanon
Site preparation is happening now for a new 20,000 square foot Goodwill retail store and donation center at 1414 W. Main Street in Lebanon.
The store is expected to open in late 2023, according to a news release from Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee. An in-store Career Solutions Center will also be part of the new location.
It will be the first Goodwill store in Lebanon since a retail store at 1031 West Main Street closed in 2018.
Goodwill purchased 3.5 acres for the new building. The organization had been leasing the property and maintained a trailer to accept donated items. The trailer that accepts donations has been relocated to 102 Rocky Road in Lebanon until the new store is finished.
The new store and donation center is expected to employ about 20 workers, according to the company.
