If you’re looking for an alternative to the Amazon Echo Dot, then the Google Home Mini is a great substitute. The smart home device is now on sale for $25 at Walmart, or $24 off its list price.

The Google Home Mini is one-part voice assistant (which is powered with the Google Assistant), one-part Bluetooth speaker and one-part digital hub for all your smart home devices. It’s one of the best devices to begin building a smart home.

Once it’s connected to your home WiFi, the Google Home Mini will be ready for just about any question you throw at it. You can get news, weather and sports updates within seconds when you simply ask, “Hey Google! Can you tell me who won the Cleveland Indians game last night?” and the voice assistant will give you all the information you need about last night’s ballgame.

“I love the excellent sound quality of this Google Assistant!,” writes Walmart customer Jcar. “I needed this device to connect with my Chromecast which allows me to operate my apps and music hands free. The google home mini can also hands free dial my phone but it doesn't support 911 calls, answer questions, control smart light bulbs, thermostats, and much more by connecting apps.”
