BRIAN SOZZI: With layoff announcements picking up and the stock market tanking, people are growing increasingly worried about a recession, as our nifty Chart of the Day shows. Google search data shows volume for recession are tracking to be as high as March 2020. Search volume for recession is also tracking at levels seen during the Great Recession. Again, you can see those spikes there really picking up in terms of search volume.
