DOVER — The campaign of former South Carolina governor and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is swinging back up to the Granite State next week.

Haley, ex-U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under former President Donald Trump, is set to make two appearances in New Hampshire, the first of which will come in Dover, per her campaign.

The GOP presidential hopeful will travel to the Garrison City on Monday, March 27, where she is set to speak inside the Restoration Church on Rutland Street. Haley’s campaign announced her subsequent state appearance will be held at the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge in Salem the following evening.

Declaring her 2024 bid on Valentine’s Day, Haley hit the campaign trail immediately, venturing north to speak in front of a crowd packed in the old Town Hall in Exeter two days after her presidential announcement. The 51-year-old candidate was introduced by retired Army Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc, a resident of Stratham who won the Republican nomination for the state’s U.S. Senate in November; a race he lost to incumbent Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan.

In the early goings of the battle for the White House, Haley’s campaign has been active in her home state of South Carolina and Iowa, which holds the first presidential caucus.

The race for the Republican presidential nomination includes Haley, her ex-boss Trump, former Rhode Island mayor and U.S. Senate candidate Steve Laffey, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and Michigan businessman Perry Johnson. On the Democratic side, author Marianne Williamson, a recent visitor to New Hampshire herself, is the only declared presidential candidate thus far.

A University of New Hampshire Survey Center Granite State Poll from January questioned voters on who they’d cast their ballots for in the Republican primary.

In the poll, Haley finished third in a group of 13 options, all but two of them potential candidates who have not declared candidacy, including New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu. With 8% of respondents stating that she would be their first choice candidate, Haley polled behind Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who led the pack with 42% of respondents stating they’d cast ballots for him first among possible candidates.
