GOP Sen. Rubio on Ga. runoffs: We need to win both

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio visited Georgia Wednesday to ask conservatives to rally around fellow GOP Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. They face Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in runoff races that could determine control of the Senate. (Nov. 11)

MARCO RUBIO: This is literally, you know, the showdown of all showdowns in terms of politics and what it means. And we don't want to win one of them. We want to win both of them. We need to win both of them.


The news was filled with stories of major American cities where these businesses were putting up plywood, which is what we do when a hurricane is on the way but not when an election is on the way. And I assure you they weren't putting up that plywood because conservatives were going to be upset at the outcome of an election. These are radical elements.

KELLY LOEFFLER: We are going to lock arms and deliver this country. We are going to deliver the American dream. The road to socialism does not run through Georgia.


So you may have heard now we take Georgia, then we change America. Well, you know what? That's right. No way. Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, you're not going to take Georgia. It's ours. That's right.
