Gosling Hitches a Comfy Ride at Scottsdale Lake
Some super cute goslings were spotted at a lake in Arizona recently, with one expertly hitching a ride on an adult’s back.
Footage captured by Tom Lancione, from Scottsdale, shows the Canada goose swimming alongside the youngsters.
One gosling takes a comfy seat aboard its back, with others attempting to do the same, but never quite landing it.
Lancione told Storyful that he had never seen a “Canada goose chick riding on the back of an adult”.
“The chicks are always just paddling around the adults, or paddling following the adults, but never enjoying a ride on an adult,” he said. “I’ve been watching them for 20 years, never seen it. Looks like fun though!” Credit: Tom Lancione via Storyful
