WAUSEON, Ohio — Gospel music group Souls Harbor will perform Sunday, May 1, in Wauseon, Ohio.

The concert at Zion United Methodist Church begins at 4 p.m. The church's address is 4533 County Road 11, which is between Fulton County Roads D and E, and is 2 1/2 miles south of State Route 2 (Airport Highway).

There is no admission for the concert, and a freewill offering will be taken. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the performance.

Souls Harbor has been bringing Southern gospel music to northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan churches for 20 years, a news release said. Within the past few years, the musical group has begun to extend its ministry on a more national level with releasing songs to radio.

“They have been blessed to have several of their songs charted by radio DJs across the country,” the release said.

Souls Harbor consists of Joy Brown, lead; David Brown, tenor; and Ron Brown, baritone. The mission statement of the band is to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song.

“Those who are lost are encouraged to come to know Christ as their personal Savior,” the release said. “Those who know Christ are encouraged to draw closer to and rely on Him in their daily lives.”
