Following the success of teenaged sensation Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund reckon they’re on to a good thing and want to sign up more promising young England talent and give them a platform to shine in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund brought Sancho to Germany from Manchester City for £8m last season but they already believe he could be the next £100m player. Now they want to give some more frustrated England talent the freedom to play in the Bundesliga.

Top of their list? City midfielder Phil Foden, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi and Liverpool striker Bobby Duncan. (Fun fact – all three players have a combined age of just 52). Duncan, an England u-17 international, has already trained with Jurgen Klopp’s first team and is one of the most highly regarded teenagers in world football.

Foden’s route to the first team is currently blocked by City’s galaxy of stars while Hudson-Odoi starred in pre-season but, despite Maurizio Sarri promising him first team chances, he has found it difficult to get game time.

Dortmund hope Sancho can act as a trailblazer and tempt one – or three – of England’s starlets to kick start their career in Germany.

Mourinho targets more centre backs

Despite his seemingly tenuous hold on the Old Trafford hotseat, like a dog with a bone, Jose Mourinho has refused to give up on finally getting his centre-half. Versatile Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is now reportedly top his list, if Mourinho can convince Ed Woodward to part with £40m.

However, the Old Trafford hierarchy only value the 20-year-old at £30m so Mourinho may turn his attention to the comfortably more experienced and expensive Kalidou Koulibaly. The Napoli defender has a contract running until 2023 so could cost £70m but that won’t stop Mou pushing for a January move.

Arsenal ready to forgive Malcom

Like a jilted lover who never got over being rejected, Arsenal are willing to forgive Malcom’s previous snub and rescue him from his Barcelona nightmare. The Brazilian winger snubbed the chance to play at the Emirates to join Roma, who he then rejcted at the 11th hour to sign with Barca.

But just 25 minutes of football later, Malcom is agitating to leave the Camp Nou and join the Gunners on loan in January and Arsenal are ready to duke it out with Spurs to bring him to north London.

In the north-east Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez admits time is running out for him and the club following yet another defeat. The Magpies lost 1-0 at home to Brighton to mark their worst start to a top flight campaign since 1898.

Following the defeat Newcastle are now rock bottom of the Premier League without a win, and Benitez said, “We’re a little bit under pressure because the time is short now.”

Rabiot now ‘staying at PSG’

After dragging on for what seems like an age, we may finally be heading to a conclusion in Adrien Rabiot’s contract saga, and it’s not good news for the Premier League. After rejecting four PSG renewal offers, Calciomercato report the midfielder is to snub interest from England and finally that new deal with PSG.
