Got $7.59M? Condo king and developer Jorge Pérez listed his Hollywood penthouse

Miami’s condo king has put his own Hollywood penthouse on the market.

The real estate developer Jorge Pérez, CEO and chairperson of the Miami-based Related Group, is saying ‘sayonara’ to his Apogee Beach penthouse at 3951 South Ocean Drive in Hollywood. The news was first reported by the New York Post.

Pérez listed the unit for $7.59 million in September. The 5,051-square-foot unit has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool, outdoor barbecue and wrap-around terrace. The unit’s furnishings can be sold separately.

Douglas Elliman Realtor Oren Alexander is the listing agent.

Related Group developed the 22-story in 2013; it hired architect Carlos Ott to design the residential tower. The building has a total of 49 units. Amenities include a gym, club room, theater, and kids play area.

Pérez adorned his penthouse, often used for weekend getaways, with contemporary artworks. It comes as no surprise since the billionaire is known to be an avid art collector and namesake patron of the Pérez Art Museum Miami after a $40 million donation in 2011 and opening El Espacio 23.

At $1,485 per square foot, Pérez’s unit is priced slightly higher than a nearby comparable listing. A 5,804-square-foot unit at Diplomat Ocean Residences is listed for about $7.8 million, or about $1,340 per square foot.
