Got a craving for Thin Mints? Here's where you can get Girl Scout cookies in Lafayette

It's that time of year where we celebrate Mardi Gras, get pumped for the Super Bowl and stock up on enough Girl Scout cookies to last the whole year.

For more than 100 years the Girl Scout Cookie Program emphasizes five skills for girls including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. A new addition to the cookie list this year is the sister to the popular Thin Mint called the Raspberry Rally. Just like the Thin Mint, the new cookie is a chocolate wafer cookie dipped in a chocolatey coating with a raspberry center instead of mint. The Raspberry Rally cookies are currently only available online and you can order them at the Girl Scout website to be shipped straight to your door starting Monday, Feb. 27.

It can be hard to track down where the Girl Scout booths will be set up and when, luckily you can go to the Girl Scout website and enter your zip code to find out when and where to run into them.
