Gourmet Girls In Owings Mills To Close In 2022

OWINGS MILLS, MD — An Owings Mills eatery will be closing in 2022.

Gourmet Girls will be closing its doors off Dolfield Boulevard as of Jan. 1, 2022.

In the new year, the restaurant will continue to operate in Pikesville.

"It is with great sadness that we have decided to close our Owings Mills location," the Gourmet Girls reported on social media Thursday, Dec. 16. "We have shared enormous success with our community of loyal customers. Our neighbors have welcomed us from the beginning, and we have created valued and meaningful relationships with all."

Gourmet Girls had been in business in Owings Mills since 2007, but the eatery's customer base disappeared as office buildings closed during the coronavirus pandemic, the owners told the Baltimore Business Journal, noting the Owings Mills Gourmet Girls was "bleeding" money.

From what will become its home base in Pikesville, Gourmet Girls will continue to offer catering and delivery services to Owings Mills and surrounding areas.

The Owings Mills shop is about 8.5 miles from the Pikesville business, which is at 3703 Old Court Road.

"The past two years have proven difficult for small businesses, but our decision to combine our two locations will allow us to continue and maintain Gourmet Girls as a staple of the community," the owners said.

"For all, we wish health and happiness as we enter 2022. We have so much gratitude for our customers and know we couldn’t have made it through this without you," the Gourmet Girls said. "Look for special offers & incentives in your inbox! From the entire team at Gourmet Girls, we thank you and look forward to seeing you in PIKESVILLE!"
