WELCH, WV (WVNS) — West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced his appointment of the House of Delegates 36th District newest member, representing McDowell County.

Paving project bids accepted by the WVDOH

On Monday, January 29, 2024, Gov. Justice announced Stephen “David” Green was appointed to the West Virginia House of Delegates 36th district, which serves McDowell County.

Green will fill the vacancy left by Anita Hall’s resignation and will serve the remainder of the unexpired term.

Stephen “David” Green is a Concord University graduate that operates his own independent insurance agency. The agency operates three brick-and-mortar stores with ten employees.
