Gov. Kristi Noem announces new location for Wednesday's rally with Glenn Youngkin

Gov. Kristi Noem's re-election campaign announced a new location for its Sioux Falls rally Wednesday afternoon, which will feature Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin.

The new rally will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, 1600 West Russell St., according to her campaign. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. while the event is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.. The event is free to attend.

The event, which was originally planned to be at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown, sold out within 24 hours, according to the Noem campaign.

Noem is running for her second term as South Dakota governor and faces Democratic challenger Jamie Smith and Libertarian challenger Tracey Quint.

A second rally will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday night at the same location with former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard campaigning for Noem.

In the latest poll from Emerson College/The Hill, Noem comfortably led Smith and Quint with 56% of voters favoring the first-term governor.

Election Day is Nov. 8.
