Gov. Mifflin's Zach Zerbe, Berks Catholic's Brady Mider headline 2023 All-Berks boys track and field team

May 24—Gov. Mifflin junior Zack Zerbe and Berks Catholic junior Brady Mider have earned All-Berks honors in track and field in two events, as selected by the league's coaches, in the team announced by the BCIAA Wednesday.

Wyomissing junior Collin Niedrowski, selected for the third straight year in the javelin, is the only repeat selection among individuals.

Zerbe is All-Berks in the 1600 and 3200, and Mider in the shot put and discus.

The Player of the Year and Coach of the Year will be selected following this weekend's PIAA Track and Field Championships.

The rest of the team by event:

100: Adam Peterson, Brandywine Heights, senior.

200: Vincent Acinapura, Twin Valley, sophomore.

400: Ben Grundy, Twin Valley, freshman.

800: Spencer Hahn, Wilson, senior.

110 hurdles: William Delp, Wyomissing, senior.

300 hurdles: Makih Cooper, Wilson, senior.

400 relay: Twin Valley (Evan Johnson, sophomore; Harrison Cronan, senior; Vincent Acinapura, sophomore; CJ Scott, senior).

1600 relay: Twin Valley (David Seel, senior; Jason Pinciotti, senior; Jackson Kinsey, sophomore; Ben Grundy, freshman).

3200 relay: Twin Valley (Sam Frey, sophomore; Jackson Kinsey, sophomore; Maddon McNicholas, senior; Jaden Brighter, senior).

Long jump: Luke Martinez, Schuylkill Valley, junior.

Triple jump: Josiah Jordan, Berks Catholic, senior.

High jump: William Maurek, Fleetwood, junior.

Pole vault: Cameron Neafcy, Exeter, senior.
