KCRA 3’s Emily Maher asked Gov. Gavin Newson about teachers who choose not to get vaccinated for COVID-19. Newsom cited guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that teacher vaccinations do not need to be required for school reopening. He did not answer when asked whether parents should be informed about their children’s teacher deciding not to get vaccinated.
